Papa Sangre 2 and Indigo Lake are probably the scariest games on the appstore.

Limbo isnt scary at all. It's very atmospheric though. Same with Year Walk. The aesthetics and the atmosphere are so top notch it's beautiful, but draws the scare factor out of it.

That said, I love all these 4 games mentioned to bits.

Exact-Psience My 2014 Top 10 Games of the Year: Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Hearthstone, VVVVVV, Battleheart Legacy, Wayward Souls, Bug Heroes 2, Powerpuff Girls Defenders of Townsville, Deep Loot, Monument Valley, Bioshock Honorable Mentions: Traps N Gemstones, Bardbarian, Goblin Sword

In order to get through Indigo Lake, at least the part with the constant jump-scares, I had to play with the game's sound off and with the theme from the Benny Hill Show playing in the background.

That said, I thought Slender Rising was scarier insofar as I couldn't play it.

Eyes is pretty good.

I didn't finish Limbo, but I found it about as scary as chewing gum.
