Wow...exact same thing that happened with Critter Crunch: got taken off the app store, then returned w/ a different published + lower price. I might get Virtual Villagers - is it pretty good/worth $5?

I'd say that is worth $5. I purchased and played it when it was available previously. There is a lot of gameplay and it can be addicting. But be aware it is pretty linear. For example, you don't get a choice on where to place huts, and if I put a villager on the beach they would usually just wander off and start working again! There are a few mini games to play. These can give your villagers extra levels of skills, but by the 10th villager they can get repetitive! I also don't see any replay value in the game. I finished the game and completed it to 98% but have not opened it since. Having said all that, I purchased it at the original price and I have no regrets. I really enjoyed playing. If you are unsure about purchasing, then do a google search as there is a free demo of the PC version available.

This is great. I really wanted this for Christmas and I was worried it was gone.

What if we purchased the game before? I deleted it from my iPod and I want to put it back. Will I be able to download it again? Or will I have to pay again?
