Looks interesting, but linear. Like Bitcoin Miner (in mechanics, not style) where you tap, tap, tap, upgrade, tap, tap, tap, upgrade to the next thing, etc. is there any depth to this, or it it just a grind?

There is actually a bit more than that, because there are 3 added layers:
- Exploration - You actually don't know what you'll find by digging, each area is unique and there are "a lot" of unique ressources to find.
- Crafting - In Bitcoin miner you can upgrade your tool, period. In This Mountain Goes Down, you actually have a crafting system with random craft generation / item rarity (A la wow / diablo) + Item recipes to craft rare / unique tools
- Skills - There are 10 skills to unlock and upgrade, which means that basically you can have many as many different builds as players

It's actually quite impressive to see what mining builds people come up with ^^

There is a Diabloish feeling to it indeed

Are you planning on doing many updates?
Would be cool to have special attributes on tools and this kind of stuff

This game is a very simple idle / clicker game. Great for clicker lovers, not so much for idle game lovers lol. It's very similar to cookie clicker for example but in a "mining" setting, also much more active. You keep mining blocks, get experience for each block destroyed, and level up your character skills by spending experience. You will progress in a level or rank by buying enough skill upgrades for your character. You mine better according to what pickaxe you have. You craft new pick axes by getting materials from the ground. You can get different rarities of pick axes, ranging from Common to Legendary (a bit like in diablo / wow, pickaxes are created with colours). There are many areas to unlock, you unlock each one by mining a key resource. It is in every location once you have mined enough blocks. There is also a sleeping system when you mine, which makes your character sleep, or not mine, or mine slower when idling. You can upgrade this in your character upgrades, but it is not as effective as being active and mining yourself. I really love this. The graphics are not too great, but the game is still good fun in general.

cool game, I recommend it if you like idle / clicker type games. I am a big player of bitcoin billionaire as well, this one has a more rpg flavor to it which makes it interesting if you like rpgs (obviously ^^). Also really like that the "levels" change and the scenery is different as you progress in the mountain, with different resources available (I found a jukebox!)
