I'm really interested in this one. However I'm disappointed it's 3d. Definitely would have preferred 2d. The art was the charming part of the original games.

TOP5: Chaos Rings 3 / Monster Hunter Freedom Unite / The World Ends With You / Kingdom Rush Series / Implosion

You guys should check out the App Store preview (this is out where I am). It's gorgeous in 3D and Om Nom's truly "brought to life".

Gotta mention that this is a game aimed at kids between the ages 6 and 8. While that really shouldn't matter if you're into virtual pets, I bring it up because I have nothing but the utmost respect toward Zeptolab for including NOTHING that could ruin this for kids (i.e. IAPs, ads, bullshit).

I'll definitely pick this up in a while...stupid MC5 is taking FOREVER.

I think I will stick to the 'Cut the Rope' titles. Could never find the purpose of playing games where you have a virtual pet. I have a real cat and that's fine. other then Mini Motor Racing 2, this week is hugely disappointing IMO.

My sentiments exactly. I was really looking forward to this game but then this weird 3D art style has lost its appeal for me. I guess they were trying to join the herd and were taking a cue from the likes of Clumsy Ninja and all.
I would've preferred if they had gone with the art style like in Hatch. It would've been much better suited.
Oh well,I'll probably just download to see if there's anything in it to compensate for the 3D art.
