Get ready to bring on the thunder!

For three years the soldiers of the Black Lance Legion have watched as the Invaders turned their solar system into a hellish, desolate wasteland. Humanitys most advanced fighting force lurked in the shadows, doing little while their species was forced to choose between eternal enslavement or extinction.

The wait ends when Admiral Franks, the legendary Storm Lord at the head of the Legion, announces a system-wide uprising against humanitys oppressors. Cromulus and his team of human fanatics find themselves on the front lines, doing whatever it takes to crush the will of the Invaders.

In SOL INVICTUS, Cromulus finds out that not all humans are willing to take the kinds of risks that he takes. And while he has less than zero tolerance for pacifism, what the Legion does with its softer recruits may be too much even for him

The second part of Kyle B. Stiffs legendary adventure gamebook series has been brought to life as never before in this official SOL INVICTUS game. Get ready for the ride of your life as you become the hero of your very own story.

"This could be the digital adventure you've been waiting for." -- Pocket Gamer (Silver Award)

"Its art is absolutely fantastic. Super atmospheric, and very well put together. I love the audio." - Don't forget a towel (9.25/10)

"High replay value with its divergent narratives." -- App Advice

"Overall verdict: great, great, great." -- Lloyd of Gamebooks

-- Pocket Gamer (Silver Award)
"The kind of deathly sci-fi that youll enjoy if you liked Dead Space or the frightening moments of desperation in Gravity."
"Heavy Metal Thunder is a cruel and unforgiving gamebook. It bashes you against the debris of space over and over, and is happy to leave you at the mercy of all manner of terrors."
"It's a pretty big departure from the usual tone we've come to expect from iOS gamebooks, and that's no bad thing. It's not quite hard sci-fi, but there's a bleakness here that you rarely find in a Fighting Fantasy adaptation."
"It's refreshingly grim, and manages to keep you entertained throughout its hefty running time."
"Fans of the genre thirsting for something a little darker should definitely give it a look."

-- Pocket Tactics
"A big sweeping pulp sci-fi story of impossible odds and encroaching insanity."
"I had a lot of fun with Heavy Metal Thunder, and look forward to future installments."

I recently finished HMT and absolutely fell in love with it. PG's review is extremely positive so I'm sure we won't be disappointed

No, but it's not necessary. You will see how it's managed (part 1 is not needed).

Woah, I had no idea HMT was on sale for a few weeks and just went back to regular price. Oh well, what's an extra couple of bucks?
