Who came first? Rock 'n' Roll or Slyder Adventures?

I just saw a gameplay trailer for a game called Slyder Adventures in iTunes (for click-wheel iPods), and it looks exactly the same as Rock 'n' Roll.
Check it out:

Pardon my ignorance on this matter, but which came first? Rock 'n' Roll or Slyder Adventures? Or maybe it was neither of those two, and in fact they're both based on another game altogether?

Cameltry from Taito came first, then the Sonic bonus levels borrowed the idea and now RnR and Slyder Adventures.

RnR and Slyder are both quite different and both very good. You should buy both and also pick up Sandlots other game Snail Mail ;-)

I'd have to buy myself a click-wheel iPod if I wanted to buy both, as Slyder's not on the iPhone.

I already have Rock 'n' Roll though - very good game...

Previews?

Wow. I had no idea there were video previews in the iTunes store for iPod Games. Why can't we have this in the App Store?
