It quite possibly did, older threads get deleted every now and then. Absolutely loved the N64 original with the chibi-style characters; Big Snowman with Slash brings back great memories.

I'm pretty sure this game had a thread at one point.

It is (IMHO) indeed a great old N64 game (primarily for it's 4-player split-screen.)

I picked this up a while ago. It's based on the Nintendo DS remake that eschews the cartoony style. I'd much prefer the N64 original two, but by itself the game's okay. The two secret characters are Max the penguin and Jack Frost the Atlus mascot from Shin Megami Tensei, just like the DS version. You get them by beating them in World Tour challenges, though they don't always show up. Black Frost is in the game as a color swap for Jack Frost and an opponent, but unlike the DS version I can't seem to unlock him.

The other major difference is that the game appears to use dual currencies for some reason, Points and SK Coins. You can convert Points to SK Coins. I don't know the purpose of this as there are no in-app purchases, it doesn't really add or take away anything. I think maybe they were considering making a freemium dual-currency system and decided not to implement it in the end, but left in the two currency types anyway. Doesn't impact the gameplay, just an odd thing worth noting.

How does this work on older devices? My son would love this but his ipod needs a serious upgrade.
