Feedback on game concepts

Hi TouchArcade!

We are a game development team and we'd appreciate your input. We're trying to develop a game and we need help choosing between these two game concepts. Both of them will have very simple controls.

1) A two player cooperative puzzle-based dungeon crawler with rogue-like elements
2) A two player competitive shoot 'em up with random power-ups like Mario Kart.

You can read more about these two concepts here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...20Concepts.pdf

Also, please tell us what your favorite iOS game is!

Thank you for taking the time to reply, any other feedback is much appreciated.

I like the sound of the power ups in #2. That might be a fun game

Completely ridiculous to ask for advice based on those 2 one line descriptions which could lead to literally anything.

Prototype them both up, share the prototypes then ask for advice.

Please follow me on twitter @JamesDestined I post lots of development from both my game creation and professional development.

You are completely right, but we have a very short time frame for development, so unfortunately, it is impossible for us to make prototypes for both of them. However, here's the high concept for both games in case you want to help us out, we'd really appreciate it.
