I picked this up during a recent sale and was pleasantly surprised.

It's a hidden object game, but one with slightly unusual gameplay. A few token puzzles aside, the entire game is one big interlocked hidden object scene.

Imagine a Where's Waldo book where Waldo is hidden behind a rock on page 9, but you can break the rock with a pick axe assembled at the forge on page 14 from components found on pages 33 and 5, each the result of their own sub-search.

Another point of comparison for gameplay are the interlocking fetch quests found in some Zelda games.

It's easy gameplay, but satisfying a and a lot of fun. The basic fairytale story fits the storybook presentation. Navigation could have been a pain, but you can teleport to the correct location for items you need to find.

I really enjoyed myself with this one, and think it's a reasonable value at full price (single IAP unlock). The trial lasts an hour, which is more than enough to see if it's up your alley.

This is probably a nice game to play with children.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the story is a slight and simple but competently told take on sleeping beauty. It works to drive the item searches, and for once in a hidden object game, nearly every action you take makes sense in context.

Object placement is also well thought out and reasonable. No hamburgers to find in an ancient temple, as is so often the case in this genre.
