Gravity - Gameface me

I have just got my first app approved in the App Store, and would love to hear constructive opinions on the App.
Please be gentle it's my first effort which took me 6 months on and off.

GRAVITY GameFaceMe – take a Selfie and put your face in the game

Press GameFaceMe then
You can take a photo or select one from your phone
Then pan, pinch and zoom to line up your face
Press GameFaceMe then launch to put you face in the game

Then see how long you can navigate the obstacles and defy Gravity !

$0.99 Paid version

FREE version with those annoying ads (but if you click on them I get 2cents )

Oh, man, I wanna be gentle. It's just.... I dunno, dude. There's a million games where you put your picture in there--it's nothing new, and the Flappy Bird thing?? Really? Sorry, it's a no-go for me..

No problem, I haven't come across any where you can put your face in the game.

No need to get in a Flap over the gameplay

We're not too keen on clone flappy games, sorry.

Are there multiple faces you can use in that game? Like on the default your face would be like , when you get a point like , but when you hit a wall your face would change to . That could be cool.

Edit: alright I checked your game out. The collision detection is good, but the game is far too slow and far too easy. The astronauts body keeps flipping around, no idea what's that about. The art is pretty awful, the ground is low res and a completely different art style than the mountains for example. The mountains keep flipping around too every once in a while. Those steel walls disappear too quick, they disappear when the sprite is halfway trough and it's very noticeable. The ground should move at the same speed as the steel walls do. You should hide that top bar that displays the phones carrier, hour and battery, it would just look a bit more professional if nothing else. Also, your character shouldn't be able to fly above the walls. There's also no button to go back to the main menu, so each time you want to switch the face you need to restart the game. You should also add some kind of a boost animation to the astronaut. More things you should add: rotate, mirror image. A glass layer on top of the face layer could provide a better looking result. And as already mentioned above, the ability to add more faces to do animations.

I know a lot of people are over the flap style, but it is my first game and I wanted to start off with an easy gameplay model.

Thanks they are some really good ideas, especially the multiple faces

I tried to go for a middle speed so younger players can also play,
The gap between the obstacles gets smaller the further you get to a point.

The highest score I know about is 45, so it's not way to easy.

The more pixelated graphics was a retro style choice.

Um... Yeah, no. It's not retro if just one texture in your game (the ground) is low resolution and all blurry. If you want to go retro, then the textures must be sharp and they all must share the same art style.

I didn't know the gaps get smaller as I was too bored when I hit 30 points. Do they get so small that your character can't pass trough them at one point? I hope not.

No around score 50 they are as small as they get.

I will revisit the ground texture
