Oh god it's free, UUUU is now > Free (used to cost cashhh)

Dev here.

Decided to go free, and see how it feels. Hope it feels nice, like a soft colourful breeze.

Anyway here it is and remember, it works with the new chunky iphones
Ignore the link saying it costs money, in itunes it correctly says it's free, like air, or bubbles.

I know the description states that text is boring...
I don't know how to play the game. So, for me without text is also unplayable.

Those things are falling down. Prevent them doing that as long as possible by using those powers (the positive ones) you unlock more as you progress.

You can create more superpowers by sliding your finger higher above the first circle.

Superpowers can only be applied on other falling things, not the same.

They speed up as time progresses, falling faster and faster.

Faster and faster and faster.

Obviously the two lines are pause. The others? I just keep guessing so I end up losing the game in 3 seconds! LOL

Ok this is one SERIOUSLY strange game... but I'm intrigued. I only tried it twice so I should probably figure this out myself but if the objective is to stop the descent - why would you ever want the anchor... which just seems to drag it down? No way to dump a power up either I suppose?

Ok I'll try some more before more dumb questions.

The directions are vague, both in the store description and the game.
Someone pm'd me telling me the same thing.
The game looks very polished and pleasant. I can see that it is unique and original.
Obviously. The dev put a lot of work into it. I think I heard that he,s a one man team, or it,s him and his wife??.
I am glad the dev wrote earlier. It helped somewhat. But... Not knowing what the symbols are, means a 10 or 20 second game. Is there a purpose for that anchor if it speeds the drop? I don't know. To me, it's just frustrating. I promise, I am not a stupid person. I am quite logical with most things.

The compliments I wrote above; I mean them. But, on a psychology side or human nature side, if a player doesn't understand the game, they don't understand the goal. Not understanding the goal will cause the player to lose interest quite fast. Just as I am starting to. There are two people in this thread that have shown confusion. And; I've heard from others now, that have already played and/or tested your game, that they have pointed out some of this confusion as well.
Please don't be offended by what I have written here. I promise I am only trying to help. If you want more players, downloaders, etc.... You really need to have a better tutorial or actual written directions. You can't expect everyone to automatically understand how to play the game. You could ruin your reputation as a developer where a potential buyer or player of your future games, will decide that they might not understand how to play that next game, so why bother?
The game looks really great. So please, fix this one thing. I think you'll see better results from your players. Of course, it's your prerogative. I'm just trying to be helpful.

^ It's not that difficult to find out how the power-ups work. *) Part of the puzzle if you ask me. The short tutorial shows the most important thing: You can use them only on OTHER stripes. Had some fun with it and unlocked the 170 power-up within 20 min. Will pick it up again for sure. Thanks for the freebie!

*) Some of them require taps (but only when the + symbol is visible, stop tapping on x) or swipes (the winding thingy p.e.). Anchor: Stops the stripe movement on holding. All with timers.

Ahh... You HOLD the anchor. Duh! Ok that makes sense. The wind key you push it back up and the plus sign you tap... Rocket is self-explanatory. Not sure about the battery yet lol. Cool presentation in any case. Very artsy.

To the dev: I'd listen to Lav's suggestions. Because another helpful poster shared some tips I already feel better about the game. Let's face it, people have short attention spans and are inundated with iOS games so if they have to think just to figure out how to play it they may move on before giving it a fair shake.

Real interesting looking game by the way... Kudos to your work.
