App description: Pocket Gamer Gold Award
"It's a wonderfully silly, highly addictive, often knuckle-chewingly difficult experience that you can play with a single finger." Pocket Gamer 9/10

"I definitely have to recommend Silly Sausage in Meat Land." Touch Arcade 4.5/5

"True to its name, Silly Sausage is wonderfully creative, charming, and--of course--silly." Gamezebo 4.5/5

Meet our stretchy pooch : Silly Sausage in his adventure through Meat Land.

Swipe based controls will allow you to stretch through the air changing direction as you go. Latch onto a surface and your dachshund will retract to that spot.

Having an infinitely stretchy body is pretty handy, but it's not all plain sailing. Your exposed body is vulnerable to all sorts of meat cutting instruments so don't over stretch yourself or you could end up butchered!

- A happy meat based world for you to explore!
- One looooooong stretched out challenge with 50 restart points!
- Risk based restart system
- Unique stretch based mechanic
- Simple swipe to stretch controls
- Full of traps and obstacles ready to make mince meat of your faithful hound!
- Lots of elements only possible through stretch based gameplay!
- Erm... did we mention stretching at all?

The last two Nitrome games were as well, seems to be a trend. I certainly don't mind having two days with some big releases, otherwise it gets overwhelming!

I grabbed this using my NZ account. It is typical Nitrome stuff, meaning it is good.

The game plays as one long level with checkpoints in between. When you die, you go back to the last checkpoint you performed a save at. Since the game involves some trial and error, you may die frequently. Maneuvering your dog around does get pretty challenging as you advance far into the game. You can view advertisements to lock in new starting locations at checkpoints (or you can use the diamonds you collect to do so as well). I expect I will pay to disable ads and support the developer when this becomes available on the US App Store.

I wasn't expecting this to be out so soon, but I did get to play Silly Sausage (best name evar? ) a day in advance and all I can say is: You better spend those 2 bucks to get rid of ads and stick this right beside all the other Nitrome games in a permanent folder on your iDevice. These guys do NOT know how to make a bad game. Seriously.

Looks like Adventure Time: Treasure Fetch. Even the main character is a wacky, strechy dog, like Jake.

The game name is a big euphemism (◡ ).:
