I too hope this is a paid game. $5 to $10 bucks with some unnecessary IAP to satisfy th power gamers and I'm set.

Is there any anticipated release date for this? Next month? This summer? next year?

Will this be paid or free?

The current climate is well suited to freemium games.

Card collecting games are well suited to freemium.

They must hate money to not make it freemium.

Obviously I hope it's paid.

You're probably correct but here's hoping. As mentioned, I would be happy if this were a paid app and had IAP to purchase extra cards, characters, items etc, similar to the pay scheme for Warhammer Quest.

But watching that, I couldn't help but be underwhelmed by the...how to describe it.?... clunky visuals and movements. All the outlines are like straight lines. Not exactly something I would expect GW to put their name to. (Or actually these days is it? I guess the name goes on anything now).
I don't know the Warhammer universe that well but I do wonder if anyone recognises any of those characters at all.

That said, looking forward to trying out the mechanics of it anyway, so bring it on!
This is an actual board game that was produced in 1995 by GW.

Hi guys and gals!

Slem here, Game Designer and Producer on Warhammer:Arcane Magic. I've been wanting to talk to you about this game for a long time! But as you might know there are rules of engagement when it comes to talking about games not yet announced.

I'll be more than happy to answer your questions, and to start it off: Yes, it will be paid
