I've already written a review of this and it should be online in a little while. Maybe it's because I'm British and just don't 'get' the whole electronic tabletop rendition of American football, but for me this game was mediocre. There is no doubt at all that the design is top-notch and it's one of the nicest looking games in the store. It's let down by the gameplay. The worst element is how you have no control over your players' movement. They move in a completely random way - this relates closely to the original tabletop game but is very annoying in a video game.

Video games and apps reviewed at News Shopper, a newspaper site in London, England. I'm manager of this site, which gets more than 1.4 million page impressions a month. Any devs wanting your games reviewed, please contact me. (I have a US iTunes account)

This football game looks like it has some potential, the characters look so "crash test dummy" yet so life-like at the same time.
