App description: Cosmic Badger is a mobile platform game following the quest of a lone badger to save his planet using the majestic art of teleportation. A meteor is going to collide with the Badger Kingdom and must be destroyed before it's too late.

Cosmic Badger has travelled across the galaxy to track down the celestial bomb, and now he must navigate his way back home in order to destroy the meteor. Help our hero traverse dangerous worlds and avoid blowing up by teleporting past obstacles and terrain. Swipe the screen to place portals where the swipe starts and ends.

Set over 21 different levels of increasing difficulty across 7 unique stages, reach the end of each level and collect all 100 coins to achieve the high score and save the badgers from disaster. The fate of the Badger Kingdom is in your hands!

Note: This game is currently only optimised for iPhones 4s and above. Please do not download if you are running on an iPhone 4 or below.

Thanks Pete

Pete, thanks so much for posting this. I was just about to try and figure out how to do this myself.

Thought I'd share some longer in game footage to show how it plays. Happy to answer questions too!

Yes it shouldn't have a problem with iPad, I haven't tested it though on the first one. It does actually work on iPhone 4, it's a little laggy occasionally so I put that disclaimer in there

Now here is the thread about Cosmic Badger. Well, as written in the Upcoming iPhone and iPad games area, this game has high potential to be a really good platformer. Thanks again for the promo code! I really like playing it, but I think that some more is needed for being a success. I would suggest to add in the next update at least the background music and both landscape orientations. In addition I think that it is annoying that portals are not seen when placing them. It is a hard problem but I would try the following: put the first portal portal direct and show the second left to the finger position. One should also be able to cancel placing portals by moving the finger out of the screen. The colouring should be different from the deep black used for the already placed portals to see the difference. Just a suggestion from my side...

Thanks for taking the time out to give me feedback, I'm glad you're enjoying it Updated graphics and in-game music are pretty much at the top of my list to do. I'm currently exploring the options financially.

Currently, when you hold your finger on the screen and move it around (while still holding down) you should see a guide line indicating where the opening portal will appear and ends under where your finger currently is. Is that the kind of functionality you're talking about? That's an interesting idea about swiping off the screen and landscape mode, I'll definitely consider it.

Thanks for your feedback!
