January 13th It's The Middle of October and I need games Each month ide like to have everyone give me their suggestions... I'm looking for games to play but my problem is I'm always downloading the same type . I need one good game suggestion from each response and I will try each persons game out . This way I'm getting something different from each person... iPhone or iPad doesn't matter
Good idea. What type do you always download? It's almost impossible to suggest just one. I guess I'll go with RoboSockets since I think it holds up extremely well. Not sure how it plays/looks on an iPhone 6 but it looks fine on the 5/5c.
The Quest series, best rpg on the appstore, nothing beats it,not even if Skyrim will get released on ios someday.
I never really got into The Quest series, although i did enjoy the first one. I know this is your opinion on it, but the Skyrim bit is pretty hard to agree with.
I haven't played the Quest either (something in my brain doesn't allow me to like modern turn-based games). But one can see Skyrim as a boring, easy, repetitive game with bad combat and I couldn't argue with that. Skyrim is the greatest game of all time - vanilla Skyrim not so much, especially if you aren't a fan of exploration and don't get drawn into the world.
Skyrim is basically a shorter,action,non-turn based, gorgeous looking version of The Quest,i know that most of Redshift's games were inspired by other rpgs like Might & Magic, probably even Elder scrolls, but both of you,Elsa and Exact, should play "the quest" again or buy it if you have not played it yet. If,in your opinion,it cannot be compared to Skyrim then there is no better retro rpg than The Quest for sure, but even Skyrim cannot beat The Quest with it's 16 expansions and weeks of playing and great replay value even though Skyrim has the great replay value too. Mods do not count to be honest, take a look at Minecraft at least - it is literally nothing without mods, the non-modded pc version CANNOT beat the Junk Jack x on ios in terms of content.
Oh, man... there are so many hidden gems in the App Store. Just one? If they have lite versions, can I recommend two? Final Freeway 2R and Fortune Street Smart The first is objectively delightful. The second is a bit of a niche thing, but I love it dearly.
Wow I would have never of bought any of these before. All have been great. More suggestions wanted. I will give a list and update original post with opinions on all of the games and choice my fav
More suggestions? Have you heard of The Firm? Also, Hipsta Chez is an old game that never got updated for larger screens but it still works on current iOS and is still one of my go-to quick puzzle games.
Cool...glad you like it. Hipsta is like Dungeon Raid for me in that I keep hoping someday or of nowhere an update or pretty close clone will show up.
