Omber – coming soon

Hi, everyone.

We’ve finished our new game Omber and hope to be able to upload it to the App Store by the end of this month. Here is a description and some screenshots. We are working on a video. Any comments and questions are welcome. We think the game is fun. Your home, by the way, is nothing fancy. It’s a cave where you can sleep and restore yourself and cook potions. But you will live there beside staunch freedom fighters, loyal to the Princess you seek to rescue. So you can be proud.

You have a faithful companion, Root, an Ent (Old Entish word for tree), who travels at your side and has a lot to say during your adventures. You can help the many inhabitants of the world of Brightly. There are many quests and some little odd things to do, riddles to solve. You can commit crimes, but as brave adventurers, you are used to looting the odd barrel and chest in private homes, so nothing new. If you decide to kick a poor unfortunate, it’s on your conscience.

Omber’s story: The Wizard Somes has captured the Princess Kroma and keeps her prisoner in the Omber, an alternate dimension. He uses her magical powers to enslave the local villagers to work in his mines. It's your mission to kill Somes, free the villagers and free the Princess. It's time to be the Heroic One once more. You'll have Root, a wise Ent, to adventure at your side.

• Move within a beautiful 3D world with appeal and challenges for Adventurers of all ages.
• Old-style rpg atmosphere
• Easy controls. The controls are a Dpad.
• Multiple side quests in addition to your primary goals.
• Level up by battling your foes.
• Earn reputation points for doing good deeds.
• Find Sparkles of Happiness to fatten your purse.
• Mine, create potions, weave, make shoes, forge weapons and more.

Hi, Lokina. The game play, at least the fighting element is more like the expansions we made for the Quest than Wizzard Island. The battle is real time but you don't fight with menus. You battle the monsters by tapping the icon for the sword or spell you choose. There is a potion icon on the screen to refresh your health.

There are many other features. The Quest books are divided now into Open and Finished. You can Mark a spot in a scene and Recall there. That works very smoothly. Of course scrolls don't work inside a battle area so you have to move outside the battle area to use them. You can see your equipped weapon and shield which are animated during battle.

It has the beautiful terrains. : )

That sounds great. I like the idea of tapping to fight, much easier, and the two quest lists sound good. I loved the scenery in Wizzards Island, was happy just to wander round really as it was so pretty, hoping this new game will be the same. Looking forward to playing. Got any new spells? I love magic.

Wasn't intending to beg at all! Just hoping the game was a bargain price!
