Hello, everybody! I'm very excited to announce that we're starting beta testing of our new game: Knotmania - physics based puzzle game.

It will be much appreciated if you could help beta testing it via TestFlight and post your feedback here on this thread.
PM or send an email to [email protected] if you'd like to join our beta test.

Knotmania is a innovative-stirring puzzle arcade game where you untie the knots.
The game features for now 55 rooms, each flavored by an unique abstract geometry concept, atmosphere and music. Try to untie the knots but be careful, these are special strings: once you touch them, they come alive. They are born together, but need the break free.
Every room and knot combines stunning visuals with captivating gameplay.
To give you an idea, here is a short gameplay:

    Features:

Use simple gesture to manipulate the strings:
    • swipe to slide a string
    • pinch to separate them
    • long touch to drag it
    • two fingers swipe to rotate it.

Every time you play, the strings react differently!
    Time is limited!
Use fewer gestures for a better score!
Compete with your friends on GameCenter in 3 Leaderboards: Score, Levels, Golden Tangle!
    3D Audio Landscape

The game will be a one-time purchase with no ads or in-app purchases.
Release is planned for fall 2015.

    Compatible with:
    - iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 6, 6 Plus
    - iPod touch 6th generation
    - iPad 2, 3rd, 4th generations.
    - iPad Mini, Mini 2, Mini 3
    - iPad Air, Air 2

Can you untie them all? Time is running out. :D
Have Fun and enjoy some screenshots from this mania! :)

Good game so far. It almost reminds me of balloon animals! Lol
I feel that sometimes, when I am taking the puzzle apart, it's a little slower then what I am trying to do. This might be purposeful.
Definitely unique and I like unique. :)

We received some feedbacks about gameplay and UI, but we would like to know your impression about the sounds and the music.
We designed the strings to emit a note of a different pitch when touched whilst in background a low-res drum beats to keep high the rhythm (as the the time goes on).
    Do you like it?

    Hello TA users!
We prepare a new beta release that is in review in this moment.

The new beta have the following features:
    - Physics: simulation is faster.
    - Unknot condition: more precise on single strings.
    - Gestures: enhanced control of strings, swipe and drag are more precise, rotate is more effective.
    - UI: redesigned to reflect game atmosphere.
    - Tutorial: shortened version, rewritten messages
    - Font: choosed a sci-fi style (maybe), the internal discussion about font is still open.
    - Supported more devices: iPad 3rd, 4th generations
    - Strings Design: more enjoyable.

We try to answer at your feedbacks and prepare this release to focus on:
    1. User Interaction
    2. User Interface
    3. Level design
    4. Gameplay
    5. Performance

We love to hear your suggestions and ideas! Thank you very much for your help.

    Hello,
    it has been a while.
We have some exciting news to share with TA users.
First of all, Knotmania has been selected to compete in The Very Big Indie Pitch!. The competition is part of Pocket Gamer Connection event at Helsinki. Anyone else going to the event ?

In the meantime, we are preparing a new beta test release that have some new features. One of these is a holographic map of completed levels. What do you think about Knotmania Holographic map demo?

    Hi TA Users,
we are back after all this time with some important news.
We have been working hard at the game to make the strings alive. Now the strings are living creatures and they like to fight and dance each other.

If you want to see how much they like to "embrace", have a look at the new trailer:

We want to thank Robert Fenn from Fractures Audio for his music gives Knotmania a "alien's world" atmosphere.

If someone is interested to play the game, just let me know and we will send a Test Flight invite.

Thanks Loana. Just to clarify to TA forum peeps though...the music in that trailer isn't mine - I've composed music (and sound effects) totally different from in that video and very electronic and 'other-worldly'. Can't wait for people to see/hear the 'real' trailer :)
