Haven't bought it, but I will say from the video that the trackpad-style controls are done right It shouldn't matter where you put your finger.

Adams Immersive:
Yeah, the goal was to make it so you can clearly see the spinning ninja while avoiding the shurikens. So you don't have to touch the ninja to drag him. We experimented with having the controls tilt based, but the game would have been much more difficult :-)
