Sentinel Command is a sci-fi themed strategy game that blends tactical, turn-based RPG style combat with a real time strategic simulation.

House Daraay has invaded the sovereign domain of House Sedaris. Their goal is simple: take control of the valuable Neoplatinum-rich asteroid fields to fuel their galactic war. As heir to House Sedaris, you are tasked with the defense of the Neoplatinum mining operation.

From your base of operations at the Sentinel space station, you will take command of a small but powerful starship fleet. Protect the mining installations from Daraay raids. Distribute harvested Neoplatinum to your allies in exchange for powerful new ships and upgrades. Develop your ships bridge officers from novice crews to seasoned veterans. Customize your fleet to suit your tactics. Seek out and destroy the Daraay bases where they are staging their attacks, and drive them from your domain.

Your Houses survival and the fate of the Galaxy hang in the balance!

Not for iPhone - yet...

Hi All -

My name is Mark and I'm the artist/designer on Sentinel Command. I appreciate the kind comments, but I wanted to clear up that at this point (launch day!) the game is NOT optimized to be playable on iPhone... I can tell you it is definitely something we've discussed : - ) so stay tuned.

Thanks!

Problem

Hello,

I just boughtthe game. I am using an ipad 2 Ifi with ios 7.1.2, and the game is not working.
I either get the splash screen and nothing else or the splash screen and then a grey screen.
Of course I restarted the ipad many times, tried different settings. Nothing works.

Is it a bug or something ?

A little bit of help please.

Thank you

Makes me want to buy it straight away out of goodwill. Great news, even if they are only implied! I (and probably quite a few strategy fans) will be eagerly awaiting any further details.

Hi, dev here for Sentinel Command. We tested the game on several devices, including the iPad 2. Our iPad 2 is a MC769LL/A model running iOS 8.3. It runs fine on that device - so it's not a bug. My guess is that there are other apps in memory (there is not a lot of RAM on the iPad 2).

Let me offer two suggestions:
1) Download and install the latest iOS. This probably isn't the cause, but you might as well have the same version that we tested on (or newer, even) just to be sure.
2) Before you restart the iPad, close all of the open applications. Safari and a couple other lightweight apps aren't a big deal, but if you have other games loaded I know that can cause problems on the iPad 2. This should resolve the issue for you.

Thanks!

Thanks

Hi and thank you for your answer.

I tried everything you said except changing the OS. I do not wish to change to OS 8.
The only thing I get is a grey screen and nothing else.
As you specifies that it will run on OS 7.1, do you think the only way to get it to work is changing the OS ?

Thank you once more.
