Im impressed by the appearance of not just real-world rappers, but also actual DJs. The game rings authentic, the tracks sound fantastic, the note-tapping is well executed and the boss battles are a lot of fun. 8/10 IGN

Not much of a hip hop fan but this looks good, actually better than DJ rock tour.

Currently Playing: N.O.V.A, Skater Nation, 33rd Division, 7 Cities, Karnival.
Looking Forward to: GTA: Chinatown Wars, Ravensword (update), 1112 ep 02 and yeah the hangover on 1st

I've also been waiting for this game, but i'd like to see a more thorough gameplay video before I plunk down 3 clams for it.

Two guys walked into a bar. You think they would've seen it or something.

Eh I took the plunge. It's your average rhythm game. The only gameplay mechanic that keeps you interested is the turntable, but nonetheless DDR and Beatrider are far superior in terms of gameplay and content.

I decided to TOFTT in the end and now I regret my decision...

Honestly this game is a chore to play; it's just not enjoyable for me. It isn't the fact that I'm not a huge fan of Hip Hop music that puts me off this game, it's that the gameplay is so slooooooooow. Even on the hard difficulty the songs seem extremely slow to me, even compared to the easy songs on Tap Tap Revenge!

The game is well presented with a cool menu and a nice looking UI but good looks can't always win me over. There are 10 songs included in the game, with a couple more as DLC, and a lengthy story mode but I couldn't enjoy it. The controls felt unresponsive at times and it is uncomfortable to tap notes when they are on the turn table. All in all this game is just no fun.

My advice is to save your $2.99 and buy something that is actually fun with it.
