Default Pole Position Remix (+ Lite Version)

[Lite edition]

Just seen this in the App Store!
I've only seen one screenshot of it, as I'm on the iPhone's App Store, but I love driving arcade games, so I'll probably buy this soon.

I had this for the old iPod 5G and I gotta say I wasn't all that impressed.
The old-school retro look was entertaining for all of 5 minutes, and for your ten bucks now, you can get much better racing games for the iTouch...

YMMV however, no pun intended... Ha ha!

Default Lite only

Lite edition out

"Prepare to Qualify in this FREE version of Pole Position: Remix!

Race to the finish line in this enhanced version of Namco’s classic arcade racer, specially tuned for the iPhone! Take to the road with three different intuitive control setups for drivers of all types! Tilt the iPhone to manuever your car through challenging high speed race tracks. Take control of the on-screen steering wheel and spin it to fly through harrowing hairpin turns. Or touch the slider mechanism to avoid hitting cars, billboards and obstacles! Points are awarded for the distance you travel and for each enemy car you pass."

ugh.. Don't know what Namco are thinking. No matter how good the Lite version might be, their full games are way overpriced. Have they even *looked* at the pricing of other titles? I would have bought their pacman game in a second at around half the current asking price. Same for Pole Position here.
