App description: Rebels and Redcoats recreates the battlefields of the American Revolutionary War. The war began in 1775 when the American colonies rebelled against the British Empire, declaring their independence in 1776. In the following years, Britain tried to end the revolt and recapture the American territories. The rebels however had support from Europe, with France and Spain later joining the war as allies to their cause. A decisive American victory at Yorktown in 1781 broke the British resolve and was a catalyst in starting peace negotiations. The war ended in 1783 with the signing of the Treaty of Paris and global recognition of the sovereignty of the United States.

It's another (yawn) hexwar strategy... Same engine different skin. They release about 20 a day.... And they are all the same, quantity over quality. Try one of the free ones like suggested, then delete and buy one by another Dev.

Sorry /end rant

The free one just for introduction to the gameplay...if you like the gameplay then just go buy the paid ones because there have more challenging strategy to solve...rebels and redcoats 2 has maps and units adapt from the boardgames, there are already three series of rebels and redcoats boardgames...its classic wargames...and this game win over the boardgame because it has a fog war, means its more fun and more challenging...and if you want more different variety strategy to solve within just one map ( very big map ) ,you can try wellington victory.
