Sorry you feel that way. Many people do enjoy the casual game types that are simple to play. There are many other games on the app store to play besides one-tap as well. I hope you find one you enjoy. Happy gaming!

My reply might be was to harsh, i sorry for that
The thing is that there is much more games like this lately, than sophisticated games or lets say games with higher production level, i guess there is room for all but it looks those simple one tap game is taking over the app store.
But after wall i wish you luck with your new game

Was Bouncy Bit the first of its type on the app store? I'm curious because I know Bouncy Ninja cloned it and hit the top of the app store, leading to Ketchapp seeing it and making another clone called Don't Touch the Spikes.

One tap games are easy to make but also have potential for a lot of downloads (especially if featured), so it's no surprise there are so many of them. You might not want to play them, but there are many players who do.

Yes, Bouncy Bit was the first as far as we are aware.

The dates of release according to the TA forums release posts:
Bouncy Bit: 2/20/2014
Don't Touch The Spikes: 7/16/2014
Bouncy Ninja: 7/22/2014

Clones happen and, while Bouncy Bit wasn't as successful as those that came after, it's hard to be upset knowing something you made became such a desirable source of inspiration.

We tried to make the character select as seamless as possible and designed the HUD to have as few words as possible in order to reach a global market.

Looking good. I like that you took your first hit and mixed it up a............... bit!
