Should I get baldurs gate one or two?

I've never played either of them too by the way so I was wondering which one was the better choice to go with.

Yes! Get 1 and after beating it, export your character and import into 2. Great game if you like ad&d and fantasy RPGs

I got 1 shortly after I posted the thread - I'm really enjoying it so far! Not gonna lie seems fairly deep and feels like there's a lot to learn to grasp, but I love that d&d style and it seems to have aged fairly well and continues to hold that immersion that just sucks you in and are connected to the characters In a way that some of today's games still can't get quite right!

I am waiting for the game between 1 and 2 that's been developed.

But I am afraid to play because it seems demanding.

If you like 1, then 2 will probably blow your mind.
1 was a great game but 2 was far superior in every single aspect. Enjoy!

You can't truly appreciate 2 if you haven'y played 1, then grab Icewind Dale. I compare it to seeing Empire Strikes back before Star Wars. After that you have Banner Saga and Warhammer to look forward to!

Already got Banner Saga I played it a long time ago but never got around to finishing it - not because it was bad but because I had other games that grabbed my attention at the time too. Gonna have to reinstall it soon!
