I released this as a free game last year. It never gets any downloads, so I don't even know about what kind of feedback it would get. This is a bullet hell shooter, a genre that doesn't appear to have a large fanbase. It's my very first completed iOS game that actually made it onto the app store. When I first wrote this game, I only had an iPod Touch 1st Gen, so it predated many features and requirements for modern day apps. When writing my first iOS apps, I was homeless and couldn't afford a modern iOS device. The iPod Touch was something I found on eBay for dirt cheap, and the MacPro I had was given to me by someone else because it was broken so I could fix it. So, it crashes when it goes into the background, and when playing it on a device with iOS7 or above, you may experience issues with sound disappearing. I've fixed these, but haven't uploaded the latest build yet (I haven't touched this game in a long time). There's probably other things I might have missed. Since I don't have an iPhone 6 series device, I don't know how it looks or if it plays correctly. For those who want to try it, feel free to do so. Oh, and one more hint. If you do play it, you should go to options and change the colour of enemy shots to make them easier to see. I should have set the colour to violet by default. BugPlanet 1. I don't really see any bosses or targets to shoot. blueshogun96 Member Apr 29, 2015 6 0 0 #5 blueshogun96, Oct 10, 2015 Yeah, that's the gist of it. Progressive difficulty and continuous action until you die 3 times. It was primarily a game I wrote to say "I wrote an iOS app". I look at projects I did 10 years ago and groan "oh man I sucked". It is all growth. Regardless, just getting something finished and in the app store is something to be proud of, even if the product is not as great as you wanted it to be. 7lilwhitewolf7 Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2012 3,129 15 38 Male Not hear on earth Georgia,Cleveland Ohio,Texas,New York #9 7lilwhitewolf7, Oct 21, 2015 Last edited: Oct 21, 2015 Also uncool that your Awesome Creation does'nt get more light. Your feedback is much appreciated. I'm currently working on my next title and trying to get more focused on that one. While it may not be my best work, it's something that says I got an app on the app store for a change. Even though it's not my first iOS app, it's my first completed bullet hell game. My first iOS game was actually a Super Milk Chan game. Just though it would be a fun project considering that it had never been done before. I chose not to release it because I didn't want to risk getting sued Shogun Minimax Games Well-Known Member Oct 5, 2010 83 0 6 Germany http://www.minimaxgames.com #12 Minimax Games, Nov 14, 2015 1st screenshot is a menu? It isn't so easy to make a game and release it. It takes a lot of work. Well done by the way! Data clearly indicates per title revenue increases as you release more applications. You don't fail until you quit. My advise is to make sure you learn from every release. If you don't learn from a flop and continue making games, you're basically repeating the same thing and expecting different results, which is the dictionary definition of "insanity". If it's not making money, or if you're not learning, it's time to move on. Good luck to you sir. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
