How many would like to...

How many would like to have influence power on a large scale game
development project from start up to finished game? 200.000 USD budget.

put into the game.

This is in basic how users can influence the game direction.
There will be plenty more options but those options will always be
supervised by the production team so the game will move forward and
make complete sense.

If an original idea is put into the game, that user will be awarded and paid.

The point of this is make a GREAT game which the users want to play.

I wish I could explain this in more details but it will be done next year when we launch.

will explain here.

With this project we are not looking for users to develop the game.
We are not looking for users to do the art or coding or design.

This project will invite users to participate in the production with
comments, votes and interaction.

Even if you dont know anything about game development you can
still sign up and participate.

If you want to collaborate with the design, coding, art, modeling or
whatever your talent is, there will be options for you todo so through
the system that will be in place.

If we like the idea, model, art, design og whatever you send in, we will
put it up for a vote and hopefully it will get into the game and then
the very same person will earn money and points in the production.

The Production will always move on, no matter what, it will have a deadline
on everything we post up and limited time for voting and commenting.

However, We will post things up at various stages so there will be plenty
of things for users to influence, from the game genre, logic, art, design and
every single aspect of the game will give users the chance to collaborate.

Imagine you could have an input on a production at Sega, EA or any of the big giants. Imagine you could see infront of your eyes the game be born, from concept to creation to finished product.

This is what this project is all about, allowing the users to influence the game
at such scale that they will be able to control the direction completely.

All major milestones are votes from users on the site! and there will be
a large production team behind the game with tons of talented people.

I hope this post gives you guys a more clear vision of what we are about to
do and I hope this will get you more excited about this.

Have an influence as in help develop?
And this shouldn't be in the games forum.
I'd be interested, but I need more details.

shouldnt be in games forum? Its directly linked to game

And yes.. become part of the development directly.

We are setting up a big website where anybody can sign up to become
part of the development, comment, vote and so on.. the users will
control the game direction 100% - win prices/money and points,
walk the ladder of the development chain and the top will get invited to
join the development company.

This is something we are opening up in 2009!

But I want to see how much interest there is in this here.

no, not beta testing.

From start of development to finished development.
The beginning will be users voting on the Game Genre!
Yes. I mean the START.
We will always provide several directions which the users will choose from
and comment on to influence the direction they want the game to go.
