It really hasnt changed at all. I think maybe 2 or 3 quality games have been released, but TA is just exactly the same, er, or maybe so much has changed it will take you a feww weeks/ months to absorb all the changes. Welcome back. Some of us have never left.
Some decent games, the rise of F2P, some funny dramas, Neon Shadow, Impolsion, Space Marshals, Fallout 4 comes tomorrow, Kojima's leaving Konami, not a lot TBH, it's not like B.J.'s awakening after a 20 years coma :v
I can imagine falling into a coma in around 2003 and waking up to see how much has changed around you and barely ebbing able to adapt. That sounds horrible. Don't forget Wayward Souls, the TA 2014 GOTY
Actually, now that i think of it, the biggest change is that Eli Hodapp changed his user name from Hodapp to Eli. I seem to recall asking about changing my user name and was told it couldnt be done. Hmmmmm. Seemes like a case of "some animals are more equal than others" to me. There is a thread on long lost members somewhere in the lounge that is worth reading the last couple of pages. Some of the long lost users actually put in a brief appearance. Others were not really long list at all, they were just newly lost. The whole format has changed obviously. I miss Big Alphie? Reviews. If you are into RPG - Shaun Musgrave has great reviews and is a wealth of knowledge and maintains a thread in the general thread. We lost some members to death, most memorable for me is Ipod Lady. Welcome back again. Its still a great community for the most part with interesting brawls, generally helpful advice, and the always present excitement and enthusiasm for handheld, mobile gaming.
This place hasn't but the App Store sure has. It's come to the point of where I used to download 5+ apps a week to now I'm lucky if I find one good one every two weeks.
Thanks for reminding me. What a great writer he was. As note OP seems to have disappeared again. For another 4 years perhaps?
