Droplets for iPhone and iPod Touch is a captivating game that you won't be able to put down. It's so simple, yet so maddening that you'll be laughing and pulling your hair out at the same time.

The object of the game is simple. As the droplets form at the end of the pipe and fall, it's your job to catch them; but not just anywhere! You have to catch the droplet in the puddle of the same color. How do you do that, you ask?

The controls are simple. So simple, in fact, that a 2 year old can play (trust us on that point, we tested it on our own 2 year old). When the droplet falls, just tilt and flip your device to guide it to its home. You can see your score at the end of the game, and compare it to you all time high score. You can also compare you results on the global scoreboard. That's right, you can compete world wide!

If you happen to have a 2 year old of your own, Droplets can be a fun and effective teaching tool. Your little tyke will play for hours, while they learn about colors and develop hand-eye coordination. Since there are no complicated controls or special instructions, they don't even need help from mom and dad.

A word of warning; the more levels you play, the harder it gets, and that's where the addiction takes hold. Once you're in its grip, there's no escape.

Whether you're bored silly, teaching your kids some new skills, or just want to relax and enjoy a quick game, having Droplets on your iPhone or iPod touch gives a whole new meaning to the words "Time flies when you're having fun!"

Checked this out, its a little too simple for my tastes and the gameplay is a tad on the boring side. For free, its worth looking at, seems more like a novelty than anything else though.
