App description: The moon is full and you're outside in the early evening catching fireflies in the summer sky. Download Firefly Sky and experience the hand drawn art and harmonizing music sound effects. Also available on Apple TV.

How to play
To Catch the fireflies you tap your screen to throw the jar in the air. The longer you hold the tap the higher the jar will go. Tilt your device left or right to move the little girl. The jar will move with the girl even while in the air.

Your aim is you catch the yellow fireflies on each level. Each new level will have more and more fireflies.

Be careful of the red ones. They fly slower but they'll make you lose a heart. If you lose all your hearts the game is over. Now and then a very fast pink bug will appear. If you catch it you'll get a bonus life!

Every level had a bonus bug. Each bonus bug is unique. If you catch a bonus bug it will help you catch the yellow fireflies. One bonus bug even lets you catch the red ones!

Sophia, my 13 year old daughter, hand drew the girl animation. Firefly Sky is a collaboration between her and myself. It's my goal to teach her graphic arts in the real world and what better way than to make a game! If you like the animation leave a review and let her know.

I hope you enjoy the hand painted background and harmonizing music sound effects.

Redeemed the second code, thank you. I didn't realise this was made for ages 9-11, and it has to be said it's been a long time since I was ages 9-11. I thought it looked like one of those relaxing zen type games which I'm into these days, and from that point of view it works well. Very nice graphics, especially the hand drawn background, and a generally cool experience. Great to unwind to. Thanks again.

@stronsay Glad you liked it. It's not really a kids game but more of a zen type game as you said.

Can I ask you a question, in general, does the "ages 9-11" thing make you avoid downloading a game? I've been a bit hesitant to release under the Kids category but at the same time wonder if it's worth it. Only way to find out is to try.

Hi SputnikGames; Yes, it will often put me off downloading as I tend to think that a kids category game will lack finesse and be overly simple. In the case of Firefly Sky this perception is completely wrong so I may well have missed out on your (and your daughter's) beautifully made game if I'd looked in the Appstore first and seen that designation. I would put this in the ages 9-91 category.

Goddamn it, you can't have a game called Firefly Sky and not have it be about Malcolm Reynolds and company. Talk about a letdown.
