New adventure puzzle title developed by Shbli in collaboration with Christos Martinis

Hello everyone and welcome to the development thread of our game. It is a sci fi themed adventure puzzle game following the story of an alien traveler and the exploration of a beautiful planet. This thread will be the place where we post updates from the development in the form of concept art, screenshots and gameplay videos.

The idea came to life when Game Developer Shbli (Creator of Oraia Rift) and Artist Christos Martinis decided to make a game together, telling a story of exploration, suspense and extra-terrestrial beauty, which begins like this:

Quote:
The small spaceship lands on a strange new planetoid. The Space Explorer puts both his alien feet on the rocky surface and looks around. He plans to explore the planet, searching for ‘instants of beauty’, which he will then ‘photograph’ and contain into crystal balls. In his world, beauty is energy. Beauty is life. So he begins his exploration.

He goes deeper and deeper into the strange planetoid, wondering where it came from and why, but he quickly forgets about all such questions and enjoys the beautiful flora and fauna. It doesn’t take long for him to come across a playful alien Creature, which decides to make him his new best friend and help him move through the difficult obstacles, towards his destination.

Little did they know that the journey would put them against difficult puzzles, dangerous traps, scary enemies and a species considered lost a long-long time ago…
In this game you get to guide the explorer and the creature through the puzzles and collect enough ‘instants’ of energy to bring back home but beware, someone is watching your every move!

The journey begins in 2016!

I love it!
I like the ethereal look of the picture.
I am looking forward to hearing more and I wish you much luck on the new game and collaboration with the artist.
I loved Oraia Rift so I know this will be good too.

I hope it's not a game that u have to wait on energy to play. That would kill it.

Looking forward to see how it evolves! Oraia Rift was a solid effort, I expect more now that there's more men power.

If you need a tester, I'm available.

Thanks for the comments! Oraia Rift was a great experience and this time I would like to focus more on the game quality, gameplay, art and story. It is very exciting for me. Christos is a fantastic artist and we aim to make a beautiful, fun game. Hope you guys will be along for the ride.

In case you haven't noticed above, in this game you will be able to control 2 characters at the same time!

Oh, this looks fantastic! Love the art style and premise so far.

What kind of gameplay will this be, exactly? When I hear sci-fi, puzzle, and adventure, I immediately think of Shardlands (one of my all-time iOS favorites). Will the gameplay be something similar (exploring, solving puzzles, avoiding enemies, but no actual combat), or something different with actual combat? My interest is piqued!

Wizard_Mike, you are correct! The Space Explorer is peaceful and does not want to harm or disturb the ecosystems of the planet he visit. He is simply a visitor and he will go out of his way to avoid creating problems.

Stay tuned as we shed more details!
