The villagers of Morath have long lived in the shadow of the Evermore mountains, but recently, a darkness has arisen...

The Dungeons of Evermore combines the easy accessibility of board-based role-playing games like Wrath of Ashardalon and Descent: Journeys in The Dark with the complexity of the computer-based role-playing game, creating a game that is simple to understand, easy to pick up and play, and yet challenging.

Dungeons of Evermore Features:

* A party based system allowing up to 4 characters in the party
* 5 different classes (warrior, adventurer, priest, mage and bard) and 5 different races
* Randomly generated dungeons with a difficulty level based on the number of characters in the party, so you can adventure solo, as a duo or as a full party
* Multiple mission types to keep you on your toes

Dungeons of Evermore combines rogue-like elements with a full party experience, balancing traditional rogue-like features such as permanent death with the ability to bandage your fallen comrade if you can get to him in time. The dungeon also offers a means of escape, so if your party is beaten back, you can run for the exit. This creates both a challenge and a level of excitement.

Note: The public domain tilesets used in Dungeons of Evermore come from the RLTiles collection. Additional graphics come from Antifarea, William.Thompsonj, Redshrike, XCVG, Justin, Nichol and Liosan from opengameart.org and Ayene-chan from DeviantArt. Some of the sounds used come from www.freesfx.co.uk, including sounds by qudobup,.

Thanks Repulsa.

I'm the same guy that did Endless Depths and Endless Nights, so if you've played any of those games, you know a little what to expect. This game is party-based and has some big differences from those other games.

One thing to be aware of is the permadeath in the game. If your character dies, it is permanent, but you have the opportunity to bandage the character. One thing I liked about this feature in testing is that I actually ran away and escaped the dungeon at times if things went sour.

I've tried to explain most abilities and items in the game well enough so that you can understand the mechanics. You can also use the identify button to check out monsters in the dungeon. There's a 20-sided dice at the bottom of the screen that will show your attack roll, any to-hit bonuses and what you need to roll for a hit. I think the mechanics will be a little easier to understand because of this.

I made it out of the dungeon with my entire party intact my first run so i was pretty proud of myself.I love the random events, just when you think you are safe poisonous snakes will fall down from the ceiling and surround you or an earthquake will cause damage to several of your party

That doesn't exactly bode well for the challenge/complexity of the game!
