App description: In the morning you awake, collect your belongings, and set off for the dungeon. After several days of uneventful travel, you see the ancient ruins that mark the entrance to the Mazes of Menace. It is late at night, so you make camp at the entrance and spend the night sleeping under the open skies. In the morning, you gather your gear, eat what may be your last meal outside, and enter the dungeon...

Welcome to NetHack, inspired by Rogue, an RPG in which you must navigate the Mazes of Menace in search of the Amulet of Yendor.

I'm liking this one a lot so far, the movement isn't as fiddly as the App Store reviews make them out to be, considering this is a nethack um...client, or whatever it's called.

You tap to move, one or more multiple spaces, tap to pick stuff up, open doors, hit monsters, all the other commands are done by a clean UI.

This here's the real deal. Just the right amount of fluff over a serious rogue like.

$4.99 one time unlock price, to remove ads that seem to only pop up when you go down a dungeon floor, no videos so far, bout to go unlock it now.

A bunch of classes, alignments, pets, there's stuff here for the hardcore and the casual player, as long as they're willing to learn a little bit.

I suppose one thing's throwing me off, not sure how to talk to a merchant to initiate a sale, but I haven't played a whole bunch yet, just can't find a talk command anywhere in the quick menus.

I really want to like it but it seems a bit overcomplicated to me like the menus and such could be more accessible for mobile. Also I don't get the commands. Why incorporate PC commands into a touch screen game?
