30 levels of puzzle mayhem with fire, water and earthquakes! (iOS beta)

Beta Signup: https://play3xn.com/contact/ios-beta-signup/

The beta has already been accepted for public TestFlight testing, so you get to play as soon as I can add you to testers.

3XN Number Puzzle is a match-3 number matching puzzle game with unique gameplay: numbers are on a folded path. Changing the path changes which numbers can be matched. The game is almost ready for worldwide release.

Hints & Tips
  • Matching 444 gives 12 points, 44444 gives 20 points
  • You can combine a row and a column match (total count of numbers in the match define the scoring)
  • Game is saved after each move, so you can continue the game later
  • Facebook login works (tap Settings in main menu), so you can compete with your beta tester friends...
  • As always with TestFlight IAP is free

The story so far

I released the version 1.0 with softer than soft launch: Just nordic countries and no promotion. 1.0 had Endless, 60 moves & 60 seconds modes, but no progress levels or fire/quakes/water. I got good usage data (with some playing over 200 games so far!) and continued improving the game. Version 1.1 will be released soon worldwide and has 30 progress levels with fire, quakes & raising water levels.

As always, all comments are very welcome!

Edit: there seems to be a crash bug related to ads at the moment. I'll fix it asap, once I know what it is.

WORKAROUND: Buy extra moves or lives. This disables ads for 24h. Easiest way to do that is to fail a level and then tap "GET 5 EXTRA MOVES".

Really good game. Runs with no issues so far.
The sliding and match in a rail mechanic is a nice twist.
All I would request is an option to select color themes for the Epic mode?

Will continue to try the other modes out later.

Thanks! What would you like to do with the themes? (Freely set the color for each number? Day/night mode? Color blindness optimized? ...)

Setting colors for each number would be cool, but to make less work for you, even just some preset theme combinations would work. Off the top of my head, games like Lettercraft and Letterpress come to mind. Such as one setting for background, and one setting for a two or three-tone number square combo.
Day night mode and color blindness optimization seem to be good options in case you get buyers who need those, so they can't hurt either.
Do you have an official release date yet?

Excellent info, thanks again! No release date yet, but in 2-3 months.

So I have a 3/3 crash so far, here's the steps I performed when the crash occurred.

1) Boot the title the first time
2) Progress and complete the tutorial.
3) Complete level 1.
4) Tap next.
5) Watch the video.
6) Tap the X icon to dismiss the ad.

The app crashes and puts me back to the iPhone screen/menu.

...grinding on hearthstone rank play -_-

I'll try to verify. As a workaround you could try bying extra moves. That will disable ads for 24h.

Many thanks for reporting this. I should see the crashes in GameAnalytics logs, but it's not perfect. What device & iOS version you have?

VERIFIED CRASH BUG: Ads crash the game at the moment.

Ads are part of the normal play testing and haven't caused problems lately, so this is yet another good reason to do the beta :-)

I know the point of the challenge is to slide the numbers on the rail, but I must say that I just want to be able to match them up and down so badly. I guess it's just a habit of playing match games.

Hopefully I get to create many more levels... Traditional candy style matching could be the theme for some levels or it could be always available power-up. Thanks for the idea!
