I have just finished the first world.

Can I just say, without a doubt, that this is amazing.
It is utterly utterly utterly brilliant. I was aggravated by the first few images. I didn't know what I was doing. And then it clicked, and it actually really excited me, because some really cool puzzles could be made. And then the second level went and gave some smart designs.

Sorry for the rave, this game has just really exceeded my expectations so far. I hope it gets really challenging, because if there are some super hard puzzles then this will be one of my favorite games of the genre, EVER.

Edit: I am just past the halfway mark, and it just gets better and better. Some real headscratchers here and if the difficulty keeps increasing at the same rate this'll be one tough cookie to crack.

Edit 2: Aaand just finished the game. I think I did, there isn't really anything that let's you know you've 100%ed it but unless there's something I've overlooked I think I've solved all the puzzles.
Very good game. It's a shame it's not very long. The puzzles are very well designed and tricky though. This definitely doesn't disappoint in terms of difficulty.
Am definitely gonna keep an eye on this dev from now on. If they can make a game as good as this as their first release, I can't wait to see what they produce in the future. This game desperately needs some love NOW.
Up there with my all-time puzzle purist favorite Hexcells.

Cool! I'm glad you liked it!

I feel super scummy asking this, but would you mind leaving a review on the App Store? Every review helps A LOT.

As for the length, I'm still hoping to add 20-40 puzzles in updates, but I have no idea when I'll have the time to do so. This isn't my full time job (I'm actually an electrical engineer!) so unfortunately I have to squeeze in game development when I have free time. But I'm hoping in the next month or two to add 5-10 super hard levels in an update.

I actually had another question for you. I've been thinking about taking the arrows out of the first two levels. Were those confusing for you? Did they help at all? I've received mixed responses to them and I'm curious what you thought.

Thanks for playing!

No problem, put up a review.

As for the arrows, the first two 'minipuzzles' the arrows just confused me.
It was the third and the fourth, with just 3 square blocks, where the arrows really helped me grasp the concept.
So all in all I'm not sure. It could work without, and it kinda works with them. But I suppose if you really wanted the aesthetic to be consistent throughout the entire game you would get rid of the arrows. People would grasp the rules sooner or later, anyway, I think the early puzzles are quite well done to explain the mechanic.

Thanks for that! It really seems to help.

I'm hearing enough mixed replies on the arrows that I think I'm going to remove them. They should be gone sometime next week in an update.

Thanks to The Great Escaper for posting about this in the GOTW thread.

I really enjoyed this, although as you say it really was over a bit quickly. Probably the shortest $3 game I've played since Monument Valley. If you don't mind that, it's a solid game.

Regarding the arrows, the main thing that confused me was that, in the first two puzzles, they aren't on every shape. I was trying to work out the difference between the shapes with arrows and the shapes without them.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I'll be adding a lot more puzzles over the next two months. I think there are thirty-six new puzzles or so? Look for them coming in over the next few weeks.

Also I'll be updating the first few levels within the next week or so.
