Anyone with an opinion on which App about recipes is the best?

I use NewsTap (usenet reader) and check 'alt.food.recipes' regularly. I don't know if that is what you wanted to hear. TinyKitchen looked interesting, as you can scale recipes.

I like Kraft's iFood Assistant. It should be free with all the ads in it though (it's 99 cents). But the recipes you can find on there are usually pretty tasty and easy.
All Recipes have a fairly decent app that IS free, no search function though. If your talking about a more personal cookbook, the only two I tried were chef and headcook. Chef offers website syncing to enter recipes, but it's web interface was awful. Headcook offers desktop syncing which I haven't tried yet but it looks tedious to setup. All of them suck for entering recipes on the iphone itself. |

Anyone else has any reviews on a good recipe app?
Thank you. |

Despite having one of the worst names ever, I am now using MacGourmet. I like it though it's not perfect. It has a handful of funky bugs. The clear advantage, however, is that it syncs with MacGourmet Deluxe. Really, I am hoping YummySoup! soon comes out with an iDevice companion app.

Thank you for the fast reply. Heard from someone that epicurious is not bad for recipes. I installed it and the app just hangs and says i am offline. Strange |

If you want more instructional recipes, including video, jaimie oliver's is quite neat. If you want something more like a utility, to know what recipe to cook by ingredients, the Cookmate does it.
