I love hockey games and don't mind national teams over nhl but the last releases including the Patrick Kane game were weak so I'm waiting to get some impressions before I buy it.
This one looks great but looks aren't all that matters how it plays will determine whether it's really any good. I know it's only 3$ but since the first of the year I've spent more than I planned so I'm not just jumping in without knowing what's up first.

Played all their hockey games and betatested a few
The games were fun to play but they had certain flawes which could have made the games really great ( small goalkeepers, bad shot taking, weird attacking where the defenseman where behind the blue line)
Hopefully they adjusted the gameplay and not just put new graphics on

Ok but...

Well I just played a few minutes, this is their best hockey game by far (I also had the previous one) but it isn't perfect. The game isn't very fluid (is it because I have an iphone 5c only?), maybe with a more powerful mobile it would be very smooth. The players movements are ok but a bit unnatural (too straight), and the passes are .... automatic? Is it because I only tried it under the amateur level? I hope so, so Ill try it a bit more tomorrow and will let you. Its an ok hockey game from what I played, but still, NHK 2K is still better but unfortunately outdated... So if you love hockey, then this one will do (maybe when its cheaper?).

National teams don't think it has any Nhl teams unless I'm missing that

Thanks for clarifying
I figured they didn't have the license for nhl makes sense but cool that they did what they could. Sounds to me like their past offerings where it just doesn't compare with 2k. I just wish 2k would do like they do w NBA and put a new one out yearly.
