lol @Sash-O

So the first couple games I didn't get the controls at all and didn't even get a score. But I got the hang of it pretty quickly.

The perspective of the game uses circles to make it look like (to me) a tunnel with your ship near the center ring. The object is to stop the enemies from getting into the circle.

You can hold down the screen to stand still and shoot rapidly or tap; every time you tap to shoot your ship changes direction (it's constantly moving). I gets tricky to hit those little ships, but it's fun to play and you get used to the game mechanics with a little practice.

You can unlock new weapons by playing (I've got 3 so far). The colors and graphic style are great in my opinion and this is well worth a dollar.

My best score so far is 8200

I'm liking this one. I'll have more in depth impressions tomorrow. The quick impression is I'm glad I hit the buy button. I like the gameplay and the art style. It's fun.

I'm SO thankful that switching the (for me not fitting) music off doesn't mute the great atmospheric sfx sounds.
Deep and long...phew!

The controls need some time to get into, no doubt, but once the fast paced turns click with your brain and thumb, your precision/aiming will get better and could infect you with that famous one-more addiction. It did to me.
Though there is no screen rotation, you can play this one-hander in portrait- or landscape. Glad i spent that dollar.

My 2016 GOTY contenders...
Lost in Harmony, Lost Socks, NO THING, Loop Mania, Bullet Hell Monday, Dan the Man, RunGunJumpGun

Once you get used to the controls, it's a pretty cool little game.
