Why does this need an A7+ device?

Really looking forward to hearing some impressions as the Kickstarter askers are not that impressed with the spec requirements. So I'm wondering if the app is as good as the game

Anyone bought and played yet?

BGG has the most release discussion, but I've still only read one comment confirming someone has actually played the game (from KS). I suppose with only A7 supported it may take a while to get feedback....

Looking through the Kickstarter comments, apparently some of the beta testers were testing it on an iPad 3...
