Busy your thumbs, clear your mind,
And journey to the West.

Journey of 1000 Stars is essential arcade zen. Bounce on clouds, collect stars, and don't fall down. Collect your companions as you approach 50 stars, then your journey truly begins.

In the tradition of Flappy Bird there is no difficulty curve to crash into. After 50 stars the game doesn't get any harder, it just stays hard. Scale this cliff then pick your way carefully along its edge toward 1000. Stay calm. Stay attentive. Stay alive.

Daily statistics report your efforts, your triumphs, and your skill, to help you on your way. Right now I'm at 99*, but I hope to reach 100 before release. I'll see you out there on the path, on the long long journey of 1000.

1000 Stars is a semi-sequel to Cumulo Nimbers, the 2012 party favourite developed for the Toronto International Film Festival ComicsVsGames event and then exhibited around the world.

* The current human record is 99 stars, however testing by artificial intelligence has verified that 1000 stars can be collected reliably by a player of sufficient skill.

Isn't Semi Secret anymore?
Is it now Finji, or Last Chance Media, or Jarrad Woods? Very confusing stuff.

I did not buy the game, btw.

So it's hard as hell but I'm loving it. My high score is 12 and I broke a sweat. You're basically trying to catch stars by bouncing on clouds and not falling to your doom. Some stars unlock other AI players that go after the same stars you are. Frustrating when they steal your stars but you can bounce on them to stay alive so it's a catch 22. It can get confusing when there are multiple players bouncing all over the place but all mistakes are human error. The controls are tight.

With the people involved in making the game I'm surprised it's getting no attention.

And the Game Center bug is getting $&:/!$?&! old.

So the more AI dudes you unlock while playing seems to make the game easier because you have more crap to bounce on. New high score 14 😊. Baby steps

Fun game indeed but the game freezes when you exit to the home screen.

Yea they need to fix that but it's fine when you keep hitting replay.

Just picked it up. I'll post my high score when I get a chance to play.

It's definitely cool. And very hard. After 4 or 5 games my best was 7 stars. (New high is 10)

When you and an enemy fall off the screen it seems like you should be able to bounce back up if you line up your arrow with his. I may just be doing it wrong, but if not, what's the use in showing your location off-screen?
