No, this one - the original Brightridge - Protopop (the developer) set to free when he released the new version Brightridge HD.

The main thread is here:
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=237171

It got pretty active around and after the HD release, so I cannot find everything again.
That's more or less the announcement post: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpo...&postcount=916

And Robert's plans for the HD version:
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpo...&postcount=926

If you want to give it a twirl before buying, the free version is a good start.
For all bell and whistles, and future updates, go for the HD one. Note though that it only runs on iThingies supporting Metal: iPhone 5s and up.
I am on an Air1, where I cannot even switch everything on without framerate dropping into single digits. And it still looks absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks for the info -- I'll have to check out the "HD" one. I bought this version awhile back, that's why I was confused on the "free" part.

Always welcome!
Hop by in the main thread when you have time, curious how you like the HD version and how far you can push it on the big Pro (still saving up for mine, bloody expensive here in Europe )

The HD one is so much better, calling it just HD in the title is an understatement. This is clearly a project, where the developer keeps adding content and polish.

The developer here - Yeah my branding is pretty bad I just uploaded an update that changes the name and Icon to BrightRidge free, so hopefully it will mitigate some of the confusion. I'm doing everything myself (marketing, design etc, with lots of help from the Unity Asset Store) so sometimes i have to get to improving the different elements piece by piece and step by step. I wish i could have just updated the original file, but it wasn't possible due to technical issues. In any case thanks for trying the original, and i hope you'll try the HD version (i sent you a code for a free copy in your private messages). Id be especially interested to hear how it performs on the iPad Pro. There are a lot of quality options you can increase in the options in the HD version.

Afaik that could have been anyone: the bot seems to create a thread when someone tries to comment on a game from within the TA app, but no thread exists yet.
So unless whoever it was speaks up, it'll remain a mystery.
