I do like it. I went through the first couple of levels, and it's pretty darn fun. The gameplay is somewhat shallow, but not so much that it's not worth a download, especially at this price. The power ups are a really nice touch.

You are right. The basic gameplay is simple, but coupled with many kinds of enemies and weapons, it should become fun and challenging.
