What games are the best when you got no internet. (for an extended time)
I reckon games that are very replayable- see Card Crawl, or something that might be campaign based, eg have some sort of content to the game like Crashlands.
What would be your games on a desert island?

iNethack 2 and Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead. Both are free, extremely complex rougelikes that pay very close attention to detail. iNethack has the usual swords and sorcery theme. Cataclysm has an open world, post apocalyptic zombie theme, with crafting and base building as well. Like I said, the two games pay very close attention to detail. For example, in Cataclysm, you should be careful when firing a gun at close range, since your character might become deaf.

There's plenty of card games and board games that do the trick very well. Just as long as they're not the completely typical CCG type (eg hearthstone). Games like Ascension, Star Realms, Xenoshyft, Lost Portal, galactic keep, Templar battleforce just to name a few.

Also Donsol, and deckdedungeon are games just like the one you mentioned, card crawl.

I didn't know desert islands came with USB ports!

    :p

I'd say Rimelands, Kinetic Damage, and Carnivores.

Er, pretty much all the games I play don't require the internet. RPGs, dual-stick shooters like Space Marshals, platformers, ARPGs... In fact, most of the games listed above by Exact Pscience.

**Pathfinder Adventures(it has pass and play also, and yes you can play offline, just no gold)

Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes

Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon (And also maybe WH40k: Regicide as you could maybe pass and play this too)

    Templar Battleforce

    Implosion

Every single Dragon Quest game I could possibly fit on my Tablet after the above mentioned titles

    Crashlands

    KOTOR

    Halo: Spartan Strike

    EPOCH.2

    Shadowgun (Yup!)

The Mass Effect and Dead Space games-which are no longer available unless in your purchase History. :(

--Then...eventually...I would Pine sick regarding the fact that I didn't have "Terra Battle" with me and couldn't play it anymore NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
