Holeshot Drag Racing is an easy to play yet surprisingly challenging Drag Racing simulator. More than just a drag racing game, Holeshot will put your reaction time skills to the test. Even if you don't know anything about drag racing, you'll enjoy the challenge of getting a fast reaction time off the starting line and shifting gears as you fly down the track in one of 17 different cars.

Play head-to-head against a friend on the same screen... Can't decide who's going to buy the next beer? Take it to the dragstrip and let the loser buy the next round!

Simple 1-finger control scheme provides for an easy and fun racing experience. Put the pedal to the metal and then watch the tachometer and shift-light to change gears at just the right time. Shift too late and you could "breakout" or blow your engine. Shift too early and your opponent may beat you to the finish line. You control all the action including Pre-Staging and Staging!

- 2 player racing on the same screen! Challenge your friends to a drag race anywhere you go!
- 1 player pits you against the computer with 3 different difficulty settings.
- More than just a drag racing game, Holeshot is a challenging and fun reaction time tester.
- 17 different cars to choose from, each one designed after real-world racers.
- Each car has its own unique horsepower rating, shift ranges, dial-in times, and more!
- Choose from cars with 4, 5, and 6 speed transmissions, each with their own unique gear ratios.
- Easy to play for left and right handed drivers.
- Detailed Help screens explain the basics of drag racing.
- Stats screen keeps track of your racing progress.
- Developed exclusively for the iPhone and iPod Touch!

Okay it's fun and it's simple. A couple questions... Is there any possibility of adding wifi/bluetooth multiplayer rather than two people on the same device?

Also is a campaign at all in the future. I've been to my share of races so I can say as a simulator it's bang on and very fun to play with. Just thinking it could be a deeper experience if there was a reason to grow or develop with the game. Maybe "X" amounts of wins makes you money or street credit where you can pick up better cars etc... Or maybe even mod the cars, tires, nitrous, pro fuel, autoshifters etc...

Very fun and accurate drag sim. :thumbs up:

Great suggestions and thanks for the "thumbs up"! 2 player races over a network is totally something I'd like to add in the future. And same thing with some kind of career mode to simulate a day/weekend at the races.

sorry I thought i posted already but I took 94MKLRJMRNYP

Okay I agree with jason this is a fun similator definitly love all the stats you added to make it be a realistic as possible. I like the idea of bluetooth, while the two player in game is fun, playing it sideways isn't as enticing. I would love to see a deeper experience such as each race you win more money you get which leads to more parts to buy for your ride in which you can mod. But thats a big task for a 99c game so thats just a suggestion. Great for those moments when you have a few minutes to spare.

Here is my review I just posted on itunes:

"The drag racing element is enjoyable. Certainly this game is worth the $1 asking price. However, I would like to see reaction times incorporated, as well as possibly an alternative gas/gear layout. I find the two are presently too close together. I would suggest eliminating the computer's gas/gear and replace them with the player's gear button. I honestly don't think too many people are going to want to squeeze their fingers that close together for 2 player matches on a single iPod so I doubt this layout change would cause much problem. It could always be just an option in settings anyway for those who like the orignal layout better."

3/5 stars
