App description: Be the Merchant of your very own empire! Quest, Craft, Profit, Upgrade!

As the Merchant, you are the commander of your own domain!

Blending together traditional RPG systems, tycoon mechanics, and a fantasy overworld, Merchant aims to reimagine the traditional mobile RPG. In Merchant, players take the role of a shopkeeper who must manage a team of Heroes and Crafters. Heroes are sent out on quests in order to fight enemies and gather materials. Crafters then use those materials to create weapons and armor. As the shopkeeper, players must balance their micro-economies between selling items for gold and crafting items to better ensure success for the Heroes.

I just started playing.

Its an interesting game where you send your knight, wizard etc on missions to get crafting components to make gear for them to tackle harder enemy's.
You have limited space so you will need to craft then sell items to make sure you have free space.

Everything is on a timer (combat, crafting and selling items you crafted) so you will need to wait in between all three. The only thing I don't like (maybe I missed this somewhere) I can't tell what items I need to make better armor and weapons so it's hard to figure out what I can sell to free space.

That aside so far the game is a fun.

16 spaces for .99 cents and then a speed and exp potion for 2.99. There is also a way to watch an add but it hasn't worked for me yet.

It's kept my interest so I did buy the 16 spaces for .99 cents and that helped quite a bit for resource management but it's not necessary.

I don't see where in-game you can purchase any IAP.. Would definitely say this is pretty fun, despite there not being any combat animation. But it's still a neat idea.

Edit: I think the IAP unlocks after you get a 2nd hero, as I just unlocked the Rogue for gathering and my Warrior for tackling the higher-end stuff. This isn't SUPER DEEP but the crafting is pretty good.

Edit 2: Yeah, this is kind of deeper than I thought. There is a chance for rare enemies to appear on your campaign map when selecting a target for your heroes. There's also a chance for you to create an enchanted item when crafting. It's pretty great so far, especially for f2p.

I agree not being able to see what you can craft unless you have the items or gold sucks it's just randomly questing to see if you can build anything and it's stupid.

It should show a list of everything you've unlocked to craft and just sort them in level order but with the items your missing reagents for being red to show they are locked and being at the bottom of the list. Then at least you can click them see what you need and work to get it.

Loving the balance between sending out the heroes, crafting the items needed for harder quests, but also selling items to keep the money flowing.

Just hired my second hero. My level 9 Knight goes out on the harder quests while my level 3 Mage picks away at the lower enemies for basic herbs for potions, iron, cloth, and wood.
