I learn something new every day. Had no idea that extreme dogeza existed. There are some great videos on the Kotaku website demonstrating this highly acrobatic form of apology. Let's hope it becomes an Olympic sport!

The developer is right that this game takes practice, but eventually I complete the stages. It's very clever and I see why it won an award.

This is a useful update. Being able to turn off music independently is good; plus easier access to help videos. I see the 2 star requirement has increased from 200 to 300 points: Just to add to the already considerable challenge!
The video shows a movement clone. I'm not seeing that in my 1.1 update so this is a mystery. Maybe it takes effect at higher levels.

I think the game would benefit from having a separate training dojo - away from the arena and without a timer. Somewhere to practice controls, and specifically to learn balance, before entering competition stages.

Firstly I was thinking it's a fighting stickmen game then..it's weird. Anyway I'll give it a try.

Good luck stephenk. This is probably the weirdest ever concept, and nothing about the controls is intuitive. I had to do some research to discover what is being represented. (No fighting here; quite the opposite). Then I watched the game videos to see what can be achieved using the two buttons. Initially my stickman was floundering about like a fish out of water until I figured out how to keep him balanced. This takes time and is why it would be helpful to have a separate training area. Eventually the controls become second nature, making stylish high scoring maneuvers very rewarding.
