Wow looks almost exactly like Mario kart except the characters of course.
If it's anywher near as good it's a winner for me. Checking it out later today.
This also brings me to an idea I had for a game that I never intended to actually make was if you combined Mario kart w Crossy roads
And what I mean by Crossy roads is the tons of characters factor. Anyway this company is usually solid so I'm down.

Well I'm pleased to say that this is a decent kart racing game for iOS. One of the few. And whereas the obvious comparison to Mario kart would come up, of course it pales in comparison to it. Just like every other car racing game. It definitely feels like a watered-down mobile version, but it does control well and it is fun and challenging kart racing on the go.
Much like Mario kart, there is 50cc, 100cc and 150cc can be unlocked. You also can pick up blue cubes that contain Random power ups such as boosts and weapons that could be thrown forwards or backwards, and even a set of mechanical punching arms that punch left and right repeatedly for short time. There are also boosts and shortcuts/secret passageways on every track. Also like in Mario, you can drift around turns and once you get use to the feel, it works rather well. You will unlock new playable characters and racetracks as you place in races and level up.
While initially I found myself frustrated, after a short time (two Grand Prix's or so) I found myself having fun and enjoying the challenges. Of course this game is drastically improved playing with an MFI controller, so if you have one, that's the route to go. I can easily recommend this game for anyone interested in Kart Racing on the go. It's NOT Mario, but it's not nearly as aweful as many other failed Kart racing games for mobile.

This is a pretty decent Kart game. Not as flashy as Sonic, but it looks good, the controls are spot on, and the courses are fun. Easy to recommend.

Not a big deal but for controller support, I'd be interested in getting this for my Shield TV. Any particular reason why it's more expensive on Android over iOS? Are there differences in content?
