Built for Speed - Multiplayer arcade racing [Soft launch]

Hey there!

We've just soft launched our new game on iOS in Canada, Finland, Brazil, India and the Philippines and would love to get some feedback if you happen to live in any of those countries. The game should be out globally by the end of the year!

Check out the trailer here:

Built for Speed is a classic retro-styled top down racing game with modern twist, created especially for mobile. It features asynchronous multiplayer racing against people around the globe on tracks created by the players themselves! All wrapped up in glorious and colorful retro style.

The gameplay in Built for Speed is focused on great old school racing feel, and precise controls. The pedal is always on the metal and it's up to you take care of the steering. Race against the best players around the globe whenever and wherever you want.

You can race your rivals and friends in multiple game modes each offering a different challenge every time. All the game modes feature maps created by the community and offer new challenges every day.

Design awesome circuits in three different themes. The game features a classic easy to use grid-based track editor where you can unleash your creativity and build your own tracks in the track editor and share them with the community

Unlock all the unique cars inspired by different eras of racing! Collect and upgrade them all and leave your rivals in the dust! Currently the game features over 30 cars in 4 different performance classes.

Really great game, but the ads need to be toned down a bit. An ad to double your rewards, then an ad each time to retry (or a precious ticket) is just too much. And these are all 30 second ads too.

The IAP even encourages you to watch more ads rather than eliminating them.

Hey guys thanks for the great comments. We are working hard to get the game ready for global release as soon as possible.

Great feedback! This is certainly something we are looking at constantly we really don't want to force the ads on our players but rather give you options. We try to be as unintrusive with our ads as possible for example there are zero forced ads in the game and it's not balanced around watching tons and tons of ads.

Great art and top controls, but it needs better game balancing.

I'm not living in one of those countries of the soft launch, so I can't try your game. But it looks fun, because there are already millions of racegames, but building your own tracks is rare. Judging from the screenshots and video: there is no minimap. Is it disabled or isn't that an option?
Will it support gamepad controls?

Thanks for the interest! We don't have immediate plans to add a minimap, but that's something we've considered doing in the past and might think about adding in the future if there's a demand for it.

Controller support is something we definitely want to add down the line, but for now there's no immediate plans for that since it requires a complete overhaul of the controls to do it properly and have it feel as great as the touch controls do now.
