The game looks intriguing based on the vid. What is the purpose of the "green bird" companion and how does it impact the bouncing ball mechanic?

Hi! Thanks for your question!

The bird has the fonction of "controlling" the sun. (The little ball is the sun). The sun is always moving forward while falling and losing altitude at every bounce...

When you touch and hold the screen a ray of light appears coming from the bird to the sun. This will cause the sun to stop its horizontal movement and will propel it toward the floor.

This action will make the sun bounce higher. That way you can move over objects and land where you want while avoiding the dark vertical walls... The dark walls will kill the sun as seen (I know it's fast!) in the video at 1.13

The bird can also accumulate little particles of light... These particules are like fuel units. These units will allow the bird to have total control over the sun for a short while as seen at 0.45

There is also the power flame...

Cool talented people from Canada, what a beautifull Country you live in lucky bastards, always wanted to say this ha ha.

Played your game and it's very relaxing on the Pro, do I have to touch all the yellow/orange blocks or can I skip them or is it to make as much bumps as possible, I know I need to bounce on the lantern people and get to the levels end right.

I saw in the video that it gets harder further along in the game, see how far I come then.

Good luck with your game, it's always nice to see new indie studios rise out of nowhere.

Thank you so much for buying the game!!! I play it on the pro most of the time myself.

You can touch and/or miss all the blocks, it doesn't really affect your progression, but if you want to compete to be the best bouncer then you should touch as many block as possible!

The yellow blocks are safe, meaning that if you crash on a yellow wall the sun won't "die". In fact only the dark walls are dangerous.

When you catch a little black ghost you can use it to light a streetlamp... This streetlamp will become your checkpoint. The levels follow each other seamlessly. You could say that Sunpolis is an infinite bouncer...

Before founding Fineallday I worked on other games: Sang-Froid, Conflicks... So I had time to get better along the way, before Fineallday. You can have a look at some of my previous work here

Your welcome to visit Canada anytime you want!!! It must be one of the emptiest country in the world (population VS size)

Okay thanks, got it, I find the game very intriguing and interesting, got 171 bounces clocking in on number 2 now, I am on level 5 inbetween the small light field with small black walls and hundreds of small lights and I need to get between them somehow very interesting this.

Level 5! cool! when you touch a little light square it will give one unit of light (behind the bird). when you want, touch the little light on the bottom right of the screen and you'll be able to have full control over the sun! Hit more little squares for more light units!
