App description: Stranded Without A Phone is a desert island survival game set in the Space HoRSE universe.

Four passengers on a space ship were on a mission to colonize a new planet when the ship crash landed on a planet that is almost completely covered by ocean. You are the only survivor - an upper-management executive from the Decoo corporation, the company that sponsored the original mission.

Now you must use your survival skills to stay alive long enough to get rescued. Build shelter, find food and drink, and collect salvageable parts from the wreckage that wash ashore. Use the parts to build a space radio and call for a rescue team to win the game.

Search for natural resources, then use them to create other items using various combinations.

Features:
- Familiar RPG-style inventory system.
- Over 70 different items.
- Randomly generated map with each new game.
- Day/night cycle.
- Rain storm weather effects.
- Boar hunting & trapping.

*** Reviews ***
Stranded is a well designed, fresh take on the iPhone RPG genre. 9/10
- The iPhone App Review

Overall I'm having fun with this game and am impressed with the whole setup/gameplay. Graphics and sounds are good enough. Presentation is decent. The game is interesting. A worthwhile game. For $2, I recommend it, I give it an 8/10.

Stranded is a unique addition the offerings in the App Store... The game's excellent graphics and sounds are noteworthy, and the controls are easy and intuitive to use.
- Game Itch

*** Hints ***
-Search dirt areas for small boulders to build a fire pit.
-Use coconuts as an immediate source of nutrition and hydration, but also find fish in shallow water.
-Boar meat provides the best nutrition and health.
-Search beaches often for useful items from the shipwreck.

See the item guide at www.gilligames.com/stranded_items.php

My apologies go out to earlier buyers of the game that ran into a bug in the 1.32 update that would crash if running iOS 3.1.3. Apparently Apple doesn't actually test on all versions of their OS like you'd expect during the 2 week approval process. Note to self: Get an old iPhone device for future testing.

wtf i thought this was going to be the new Glu game Stranded. looks like they'll have to get a new name now. this reminds me of Lost in Blue, which a lot of people seemed to enjoy. me? not so much. this could still be good though.

Kind of a "mini" version of Sims Castaway( which was enjoyable).

The only thing that seems to turn me off from the game is the old man with a very akward body structure.

Heh heh, yeah, he looks kinda weird, especially those super thin legs. Gameplay sounds interesting though. Video would be nice to see...

Why oh why could they not have brought us Space HoRSE instead?!?

Actually, as much as I love M.U.L.E. I found Space HoRSE very lacking.

Playing an old man is rather unappealing.

lol, of course every guy on here would much rather see a scantily clad babe than a quirky old man...
